WomenTech, the world's largest community for women in tech with more than 4300 ambassadors representing 161 countries. The virtual awards live celebration in technology for women, minorities and their allies, WomenTech Global Awards 2020, took place on December 3th with 2238 contestants from 153 countries in 22 categories.
We are honoured to see that Diversein's founder Furkan Karayel has been awarded as "Speaker of the Year Award" by WomenTech Network along with Alexandria Butler from Twitter and Siri Chilazi from Harvard University out of 300+ international speakers.
“I held myself back from speaking for so many years due to my introverted personality, imposter syndrome, my self-criticism, and being afraid to be judged by others. In fact, I have been always the quietest child in my family of 6. I've built up so many untold stories inside me in those years and I couldn't manage to hold them anymore. Today, seeing myself as the winners of “Speaker of the Year” is absolutely incredible ! Probably the biggest thing happened in my life in 2020 ! Thank you everyone who helped and supported me on this journey ! If I could do it, you can do it too“ said Furkan Karayel, Founder and CEO of Diversein.com
