Fantastic Launch with Diversity Leaders in Dublin

Diversein brought diversity leaders and passionates together on it's launch event in Dublin.


Diversein's Dublin launch event took place on the 30th August Thursday at KBC Sandwith Street in Dublin 2 with over 60 diversity leaders and passionates together.

The program presented by Diversein's ambassador Dawn Leane was launched with the founder Furkan Karayel's story. She demonstrated a live poll with the guest to see the rate of bias they faced at workplaces. The results showed that 77% of the participants had subject to bias at workplace.


Ethnic and Culture ambassador Adaku Ezeudo also spoke about her story from Nigeria to Ireland and her amazing work on diversity and inclusion.

David R. Pollard, the Disabilities Ambassador spoke about how companies can increase accessibility. He asked the guests to tweet while keeping the pink balloons on air as a live demonstration of the concentration and productivity difficulties people who are neurodiverse can face everyday in non-inclusive work environments.



The program ended with a panel discussion with Sandra Healy, the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Dublin City University and Amanda O'Farrell, the Computing Lecturer at IT Tallaght.
