Huanglong National Park is located in Songpan County in the north of Sichuan Province, on the northeast side of Xuebaoding, the main peak of Minshan Mountain, and the source of Minjiang River and Fujiang River. The scenic area of Huanglong National Park covers an area of 1830 square kilometers, with a lowest elevation of 1700 meters and a highest elevation of 5588 meters. It is famous for its colorful pools, beach streams, snow-capped mountains, canyons, forests, ancient temples, and the "seven uniques" of folk customs. It is a comprehensive national 5A-level scenic spot integrating large-scale open-air karst travertine landscape, plateau natural scenery and ethnic customs; it has become a top scenic spot and nature reserve with three international laurels in China. It enjoys the reputation of "Resort Wonderland" and "Jade Lake on Earth".
